As a consultant to creative and corporate leadership at startups, studios, app developers, and nonprofits since 2016, I have advised CEOs, artists, and executive directors across the US and Canada.

FROM KIN TO TWIN
The Kellogg Innovation Network [KIN Global] was an innovation conference out of Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, which we recently rebranded as The World Innovation Network [TWIN].
TWIN hosts speakers and luminaries in government, business, technology, the arts, defense and the nonprofit sector.
I consulted as communications director for half a decade, where I led and directed the brand transition (more below); wrote magazine pieces with the founder and executive director; and managed all copy and communications strategy. Work also included speaker and sponsor selection; building the editorial calendar; pitching, booking, facilitating and publishing interviews with corporate and creative luminaries; copywriting for the website; email campaigns; drafting copy on brochures; managing all social media channels; and post-conference surveys and publishing; video editing; and channel management.
Articles and Interviews
At Transit I have authored, co-authored, and ghost-written over 22 essays, articles and interviews appearing in Forbes, TWIN Global and numerous other outlets.
I drafted A Confab With Pixar Co-Founder Ed Catmull and Composer Harold O’Neal, and also booked and conducted the interview, in advance of the premiere of Pixar’s Soul.
Here is an article I co-authored with TWIN founder and executive director Rob Wolcott for Forbes titled SpaceX’s Launch, Campaign 2020, Social Media & the Future of Truth.
TWIN Origins: Anna Catalano
I sat down with TWIN Board Director Anna Catalano to discuss her work leading marketing at BP, meeting her heroes, and the origins of TWIN.
This series of interviews also included foresight discussions, including interviews with IBM’s Jesus Mantas, who is leading IBM’s charge on AI, and Ravin Jesuthasan of Willis Towers Watson, an expert on the Future of Work.

TWIN Branding
From 2018-2019, I led work with the TWIN board and executive director to rebrand the conference from KIN, on Northwestern’s campus, to TWIN, which moved to downtown Chicago.
As we rebranded, we began to migrate the conference from Northwestern to the Harris Theater at Millenium Park.
In 2018, I was asked to produce and direct a video series for TWIN Global, which I branded as 3 Billion Seconds.
Its name is derived from the rough amount of seconds there are in one century.
Each interview explored the near- and long-term future of business, technology, and art with luminaries in their respective field,s and served as a transitional vehicle between KIN and TWIN.
I both generated the name and worked with the client to select the logo and visual style, and music, and built the website. During production, I recommended and booked the guests and venues, drafted the questions, edited each video, wrote the online copy, and posted each interview to the site and social networks.
